If you enjoy having a robot yelling at you as your default ringtone and don’t want to deal with the bulk and power drain of a 4.3-inch screen, skip the aging Droid and step up to the all-new sequel. The Motorola Droid 2 ($200) packs the same 3.7-inch touch screen as the original, but adds a redesigned slide-out keyboard, 3G Mobile HotSpot capability, Android 2.2, Flash Player 10.1, an enhanced five-megapixel cam with DVD-quality video, DLNA media sharing, and 8GB of integrated memory plus an 8GB microSD card. Also available in a way-cooler limited-edition R2-D2 version.
