Creating a clothing line for the best basketball playeron the planet seems like kind of a no-brainer, so in that sense it’s sort of odd that it’s only just now happening. The Nike Kobe Collection features classic pieces of athletic apparel, reinvented with Kobe Bryant in mind, using symbols, such as the spade which represents his high school sports career, and phrases like “to originate,” “to elevate,” “to know” and “to battle” also representing various stages in his life.
